Apparently the major carbfest (Hershey cookies and cream kisses are carb-filled nuggets of deliciousness!) I went on last night didn't do much to my system. Woke up and found myself down .2 of a pound. I'm weighing myself every day to try and get a weekly average (SCIENCE!) but not really stressing over the actual number. Finally went on a run after a long break. There's a new gravel/dirt trail that winds close to the river: kinda forgot that it had rained on Monday, but it wasn't as muddy as I had expected. Felt good to do a 4-miler again, even if I did get one hellacious blister on my right foot and my quads are sore from Monday's lifting and running up a steep ( Read more... ) -

My bone broth I made yesterday is thick as jello today. Last week was still runny enough to pour when I wanted a cup, but I'm spooning out portions for a mid-morning snack. I added some garlic to the original recipe and I think it makes a nice addition ( Read more... ) -

I am slowly working my way through the Big Box O' Romance novels that my neighbor gave me. I now own more Danielle Steele books than I've ever had in my entire life. Guess where the majority of my Christmas gift card went last night. :D I also cleaned up my playlists and discovered I have well over nine hours of nothing but stuff from the 80's.
